About me

  • Born on June 4th, 1981 in Slovenia.
  • Education: primary school, secondary languages-focused school completed in Zagreb, graduated from Croatian Studies (Hrvatski studiji) majoring in journalism (completed her studies in 2005).
  • In 2003 she beings working for the state-run Croatian Radio Television (HRT) as a journalist, reporter and presenter for the Croatia Good Morning show (Dobro jutro, Hrvatska), which she did for a number of years.
  • Presented a string of music shows, festivals and special projects (Dora, Porin).
  • Reported live on the points given by the Croatian jury to the Eurovision Song Contest on several occasions.
  • 2006 SEES THE BEGINNING OF HER SPORTS JOURNALISM CAREER AND THE HARD WORK RESULTS IN HER BECOMING AN ESTABLISHED SPORTS JOURNALIST NOT ONLY A HOUSEHOLD NAME IN CROATIA, BUT ALSO ABROAD.
  • In 2006 she was behind the first soccer show titled Goleo, which covered the world championships in Germany.

She is a successful moderator, organiser, producer and participant of expert sports conferences, panel discussions and round tables, as well as a PR agent, a football agent and consultant.

As of 2007 she had been involved in making the Arena, I Love Football (Volim nogomet) and Olimp (which sees her take the reigns as the editor) shows, while in 2009 she had become the first female in the history of Croatian sports journalism and the only one so far, who had acted as both the editor and anchor of expert football analysis shows and projects. 

These had resulted in her receiving several recognitions for her extraordinary work:

  • 2010 Fifa World Cup
  • 2012 Uefa Euro

2014 Fifa World Cup – became the first woman in the history of Croatian sports journalism simultaneously acting as a reporter, editor and anchor of shows made in the field, in Brazil. Her work has earned her recognition from the Croatian Sports Journalists’ Association, as she was named the reporter or the year and journalist of the year.

So far she is the only female to have acted as an expert football analyst on TV, not only in Croatia, but in the wider area as well.

A reporter, anchor and editor of the shows on the Olympics in 2008, 2012 and the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The author of numerous reports, exclusive interviews with many Croatian and world sports legends including (Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Michel Platini, Peter Schmeichel, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Sergio Ramos, Andres Iniesta, Luka Modrić, Zvonimir Boban, Davor Šuker, Bernie Ecclestone, Sebastian Vettel, Alberto Tomba, among others).

  • In 2016 she left the HRT for the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) where she partly acted as a PR and partly followed the work of the Croatian football squad and at the same time working for the new TV channel – Croatian Football TV.
  • She followed the Croatian football squad at the EURO 2016 compiling exclusive reports and also followed them at the Fifa World Cup in Russia in 2018, where its members had won the coveted historic silver.
  • She also took part in the making of sports documentaries, one of the particularly dear to her being the HEROS OF OUR TIMES (JUNACI NAŠEG VREMENA) – dedicated to the Croatian football squad silver medal won in Russia in 2018.
  • As of 2017 she had been acting as an editor and anchor of European football projects and shows UCL and EL at the Arena sports TV, while in 2020 she took part in the project “365 Sports Stories” with Pep Guardiola.
  • For several years she had been working as the presenter of the “5 to 12” radio show together with Croatian football legend Zlatko “Cico” Kranjčar and Croatian handball great Vlado Šola and was also the official anchor of ATP Umag tennis matches for a period of nine years.
  • She also acted as a member of the jury for the Franjo Bučar state-awarded sports prize for two years.
  • She has been acting, as a visiting lecturer, at universities and academies in Croatia and abroad.
